Cheetah Report - 10th/16th November

This week at Inverdoorn has been pretty busy and exciting. For me, it was my first time doing a cheetah interaction on my own and my first time doing it at the airstrip, it was quite nerve wrecking. It went smoothly apart from it being windy. Cheetahs struggle to hear in the wind, so they tend to get a bit unsettled and stand up and walk around a lot to make sure no predator is sneaking up on them. This can make cheetah interaction...

Cheetah Report - November

This week has been full of beautiful sunsets and wonderful moments with the cubs.I can’t believe time has flown by so fast and Benji, Lula and Clyde are already so big. Meet the Team: Julie

First I want to give you news about Inverdoorn. Clyde is more independant than lula and benji, for example today at the big dam he was walking alone, we tried to call him but he didnt care and as soon as he saw his...

All Things New

Hi, my name is Seonaid, and this is my first week at Inverdoorn as a cheetah girl. I grew up on South Africa's West Coast and have always had a passion for wildlife. When I was younger I dragged my grandfather through a zoo on a very hot summer's day, just to make sure that I had seen everything. I have learnt a lot about the residents, animals and owners of Inverdoorn. I admire the owners for creating this amazing place. When I...
