Cheetah Report 8th December

Hi everyone! It`s been a while since I wrote a report and a lot has happened. Can you believe that it has been two months?Did you know that the 4th of December is international cheetah day? I find it amazing that there is a day dedicated towards these spotted beauties. I have also learnt that cheetahs dig up dirt when it is very hot to get to the cooler sand underneath. Smart aren’t they? The cubs (Lula, Clyde, Benji) are also...

Cheetah Report - 10th/16th November

This week at Inverdoorn has been pretty busy and exciting. For me, it was my first time doing a cheetah interaction on my own and my first time doing it at the airstrip, it was quite nerve wrecking. Cheetah Report - November

This week has been full of beautiful sunsets and wonderful moments with the cubs.I can’t believe time has flown by so fast and Benji, Lula and Clyde are already so big. They turned 5 months this week. They now go to the dam on a daily basis and are loving the space and the water. It’s actually amazing to see them going into the water so relaxed and Benji even went for a swim this week. Even though he had a little bit of help by...

Meet the Team: Julie

First I want to give you news about Inverdoorn. This week was really interesting because I saw the cubs play in the water of the big dam, they tried to hunt some bird and they were runing in the water. It was funny because they felt scared and curious at the same time. Clyde is more independant than lula and benji, for example today at the big dam he was walking alone, we tried to call him but he didnt care and as soon as he saw his...
