Succulent Food

South African Simplicity Meets French Sophistication

Iziba Safari Lodge prides itself on providing simple, flavourful food which is skillfully prepared. Only the freshest seasonal produce and the choicest cuts of meat from local farms will make it to your table. Inspired by South African cooking, the lodge will regularly serve up French favourites too.

Breakfast

Invigorated by the early morning game drive, you are guaranteed to return with a good appetite. The morning meal is a wholesome affair with an assortment of options available. A traditional English breakfast is a staple, but is accompanied by an array of continental offerings such as yoghurts, pastries, cold cuts and cheeses.

Lunch

Lunch is a three-course meal, served buffet-style. A traditional South Africa bobotie shares pride of place with French favourites such as Quiche Lorraine. Fresh salads and a decadent selection of desserts are also firm favourites.

Dinner

Dinner is an elegant five-course meal deliciously prepared and served. After the late afternoon safari you will have ample time to wash away the dust of the reserve, before mingling with guests and rangers at the boma for pre-dinner drinks.

We are delighted to offer you the best food that perfectly complements your stay. The menu changes from winter to summer ensuring that only the best, and seasonal, ingredients are used. If you have specific dietary requirements, let us know and we will gladly cater to your needs.
