The Duck Hunt

The Duck Hunt

My favourite mate Wilna took Nushka and me for a hunting session around a huge dam. I was a little bit lazy and more interested by the guys following us with a camera and a long stick with a dead rabbit on the top (microphone remember?).

But Nushka sensed something in the bush, something big, something terrible, maybe a buffalo. Nushka doesn't care, she's a true hunter and just leapt into the bush! We heard a fight in the water, intense and violent...suddenly...silence, nothing but silence. We all worried for a few seconds until we saw Nushka emerging from the bush, safe and victorious...over a duck! Well done sister! At least we know what is for dinner tonight! Let's get back there and find another one, as one duck will never be enough even for our starter.
