Inverdoorn Game Reserve stretches across 10 000 ha of prime Klein Karoo scrubland and is home to the largest, growing cache of wild, free-roaming animals in the region. Inverdoorn is a Big 5 game reserve with a special interest in cheetah conservation. Since 2001 their organisation, the Western Cape Cheetah Conservation, has been rescuing these magnificent cats and today provides sanctuary to 14 cheetahs.
The game reserve offers day and overnight packages that include a three-hour long safari game drive tracking buck, giraffe, zebra, lion, rhino and several other species across an area the size of 5360 football fields side by side.
Given the vast area that is traversed and the unpredictable nature of the animals, it is not always possible to locate all the animals; but the skilled rangers know just where to look for them and will do their best to track them down.![]()
Cape Barbary LionIf you're pressed for time, a day trip to Inverdoorn is the perfect option for you. You will enjoy a jam-packed mid-morning to afternoon safari filled with the sights and sounds of the bush.
